Know the format

INDEPENDENT BEXLEY-RELATED VERBAL ABILITY COMPONENT PRACTICE. This original Exam Quay paper has 50 MCQs in 40 minutes, including reading instructions and examples. Our question count, timer and suggested section allocations are practice choices, not verified live Bexley component limits. Current Quest guidance describes a combined verbal-ability and English-comprehension booklet, and a separate numerical and non-verbal booklet. This extended, freely navigable subject paper does not reproduce those two combined, section-timed booklets. NVR is not included. Choose exactly ONE answer unless the prompt explicitly requests TWO. Questions have five or six choices; six-choice paired tasks preserve Group 1 in A–C and Group 2 in D–F. The complete correct set earns one mark; all other sets earn zero, with no partial or negative marks. This is Exam Quay’s scoring rule, not a claim about an undisclosed official scoring algorithm. Exam Quay is independent of Bexley Council and Quest Assessments.

Print at home or sit online

The PDF and online sitting use the same questions. Print during your 90-day access, keep your private copy and mark offline with a parent or tutor. No physical copy is supplied. Offline answers are not uploaded or benchmarked. Downloading either booklet before completing online excludes that sitting from the first-sitting cohort.

About your benchmark

Your raw mark and worked answers are always included. A percentile becomes available only after 100 eligible first standard-timed sittings of this exact paper version. It compares the Exam Quay practice cohort, not all applicants. No pass mark, admission probability or national percentile is promised.
