C: 5
Nine child tickets would cost 9 × £4 = £36. The actual total is £15 more. Each adult ticket adds £3, so there are £15 ÷ £3 = 5 adult tickets. Five adults and four children cost £35 + £16 = £51.

Know the format
Independent CSSE Maths skills practice adapted to multiple choice. The actual CSSE Mathematics paper uses written numerical answers; this product is not a full simulation of that response format. This Exam Quay adaptation has 50 original questions in 60 minutes, with one answer A–E per question. Each correct answer earns one mark, with no negative marking. Do not use a calculator. Use spare paper for working and revisit questions before submitting. Diagrams are not to scale unless stated. The question count and MCQ marking are Exam Quay choices, not claims about the official paper.
CSSE format and official sources ↗These are original independent practice questions. The question count and 60-minute duration shown here are this paper’s practice specification. Read the collection guide for the official format and the differences. The schools may change their exam arrangements.
Print at home or sit online
The PDF and online sitting use the same questions. Print during your 90-day access, keep your private copy and mark offline with a parent or tutor. No physical copy is supplied. Offline answers are not uploaded or benchmarked. Downloading either booklet before completing online excludes that sitting from the first-sitting cohort.
Choosing your next paper
Papers 1–3 contain different questions, not calibrated difficulty levels. Review this sitting before moving on; you do not need all three to start.
